Discover the Excitement of SUP Racing at Lake Bezid!
The Transylvania Triathlon Festival team is always looking for fresh and exciting ways to engage our participants, and this year is no exception! Building on the success of previous year and leveraging the ideal conditions of Lake Bezidu-Nou, we are thrilled to announce the return of the SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboard) race on 28th June.
Whether you’re an experienced paddler or new to the sport, this race offers a unique opportunity to experience the stunning surroundings of Lake Bezidu-Nou from a whole new perspective.
Grab your paddle, test your skills, and join us for this special adventure! Let’s make waves together!

Categories:

• Short distance: U18 (young people aged 12 to 17), 18-39 years and 40+ – female and male
• Long distance: 18-39 years and 40+ – female and male

Distances:

• Short distance: 1.5 km (1 lap)
• Long distance: 4.5 km (3 laps)

Awards:

We will award the top three finishers in each category with a diploma, medal, and sports equipment.

30 days before the race day

Additional information:

1. Only inflatable SUPs are allowed in the race.
2. During paddling on the lake, you can only compete standing up!
3. Anyone can register; this is an open race, no club membership is required.
