Discover the excitement of SUP racing at Bezidu Nou Lake!

The Transylvania Triathlon Festival team is always looking for new and exciting ways to involve participants, and this year is no exception! Building on the success of previous years and the ideal conditions of Bezidu Nou Lake, we are delighted to announce the return of the SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboard) race on 26th June.

Whether you are an experienced paddler or new to the sport, this race offers a unique opportunity to explore the stunning surroundings of Bezidu Nou Lake from a whole new perspective.

Grab your paddle, test your skills and join this special adventure!

• Short distance: 12-17 years, 18-39 years and 40+ years – women and men
• Long distance: 18-39 years and 40+ years – women and men

Distances:

• Short distance: 1.5 km (1 lap)
• Long distance: 4.5 km (3 laps)

Additional information:

1. Only inflatable SUPs may be used in the race.
2. While paddling on the lake, you may only compete standing up!
3. Anyone can register – this is an open race, no club membership is required.
4. The award ceremony will take place in the courtyard of the Rhédey Castle on the afternoon of race day.
